Excavator Operator

About the Role

Northcote | Full Time

We are currently looking for two motivated people to join our Civil Team as Excavator Operators that will drive our projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

Float mechanical equipment/excavators to and from site
Assess hazards in line with SWMS
Collaborate on and implement controls to provide a safe work site
Operate and assist in a confined space environment
Carry out mechanical excavation using various size machines from 1.7 – 5T machines to facilitate the repair and/or installation of sewer/water infrastructure.
Provide support to plumbers onsite
Backfill in accordance with specifications
Reinstate ground to prestart conditions and leave sites neat and tidy.
